--Consign .gifs with transparency?? And what websites support that?? I'thou using Prune Studio Paint, trying to get my little ghost crow to bounciness, the background is transparent in the program. I exercise Export Animation > Animated Gif. I've tried with and without dithering to no obvious upshot >.> (though I'll be honest I'yard a newbie and have no idea what that means) EDIT: Okay I should add together, I know how to export matter with transparency XD The exact same image exported as a PNG comes out fine. Thing is though, I don't accept a way to preview the finished picture on a background that isn't white, so I have to wait until I upload it somewhere to see if it worked. I've tried PostImage and Img Safe, and both come up white <.< (The way things were going, I'd hoped I could blame the website, just it could also be my ten-yr-old computer? Maybe?) Hither is the offending prototype: (If this is the incorrect forum, feel free to motility it or whatsoever! I just figured you ~artsy types~ or whatever would know) (I just posted this in Art Sales on accident and kind of desire to die a little but that'due south what happened there if y'all were wondering lolll)

Affair is though, I don't have a manner to preview the finished picture show on a background that isn't white, so I accept to wait until I upload information technology somewhere to encounter if it worked. I've tried PostImage and Img Safe, and both come upwards white <.< (The fashion things were going, I'd hoped I could arraign the website, but it could as well be my 10-year-old computer? Peradventure?)

Pretty much all websites "support" transparent images because if the image has no background, and so that'southward how information technology will display. I'm sure there's an exception out there somewhere though. Dithering is how shine(er) shades are achieved in gif files, by doing a dot blueprint intermixed of next colors and helps intermission up visual problems. Information technology has nothing to do with transparency. I am not familiar with Clip Studio Pigment merely yous accept ii layers in your file? A transparent background and so the drawing on elevation? Is at that place a setting on the salvage choice screen that lets you plough transparency on or off? This is how it looks in Photoshop. Yous tin can hopefully brand out the transparency options at the summit right and the checkboard pattern in the background tells me there IS no background, ie it's transparent. I found this tutorial on reddit:
https://world wide web.reddit.com/r/ClipStudio/comments/3qrk9v/how_to_make_transparent_backgrounds/

They're talking about .png files, but it *should* piece of work for .gif files as well equally long equally you lot hide the newspaper layer.

@Chiclet @AboveClouds Cheers both! Unfortunately I've tried those already; the image IS transparent, and exports transparent equally a PNG... just not as a gif :P I tin can't find the setting for it but I'll keep looking~

Well, if you lot can't effigy it out (perchance Clip Studio doesn't support transparent animations?) you could always export the static images as PNG files since you know that works, and use an online resources to reassemble them into a moving GIF.
